Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC)
YPIC offers a unique opportunity for young professionals locally and nationally to engage in international issues, programs and dialogue. Programs include conferences, informal gatherings, and participation in UNA-MN activities.
The Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC) is a program of the United Nations Association of Minnesota (UNA-MN) that seeks to engage young professionals to promote effective U.S. involvement in international affairs and in the United Nations.
As part of UNA-MN, YPIC provides emerging leaders with resources to act on issues of national and global importance. UNA-MN YPIC members are typically between the ages of 21 and 40 and come from professions in business, law, government, nonprofits, the arts, education, and philanthropy. UNA-MN YPIC provides members the opportunity to interact with young professionals from all walks of life. It also offers a unique forum in which to learn more about current international issues, the United Nations and the work of UNA-MN.
Mission
YPIC supports the mission of UNA-MN, which is dedicated “to educate, inspire, and mobilize Americans to support the principles and vital works of the United Nations by strengthening the United Nations system, and by promoting constructive United States leadership in the achievement of the goals of the UN Charter.” UNA-MN YPIC is committed to providing information and opportunities for international involvement to young professionals across Minnesota. By becoming a member of UNA-MN YPIC you will automatically become a member of the United Nations Association of the United
States of America (UNA-USA). As a member, you will have a unique and valuable role as a community activist. Membership is the first step to new
leadership, new ideas and new energy!
