Human rights are relevant for all of us, every day, such as freedom from fear, freedom to speak up, rights to health and education, and access to economic and social justice.
That’s why UNA-USA has been celebrating human rights all year long—to shine a light on one of humanity’s most important milestones: The 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Today marks seven decades of human rights progress around the world. It also reminds us to reach higher, speak louder, and strive to do better, because we still have a long way to go.
