In celebration of United Nations Day 2023, the United Nations Association of Minnesota is hosting for our members, guests, and public a special evening on Thursday, October 26 at the History Theatre in St. Paul commemorating the birth of the United Nations 78 years ago.
The musical, “The Boy Wonder,” is a moving reminder of the remarkable legacy of Harold Stassen, Minnesota’s youngest governor who played a pivotal role as negotiator and signatory on behalf of the United States to the UN Charter. Our chapter is named after this extraordinary gentleman, who dedicated his life to the betterment of our state, country, and world.
Registration opens at 5:30 followed by our UN DAY Program featuring Don Shelby at 6:30, leaving attendees sufficient time to enter the theatre for the start of Boy Wonder at 7:30.
MedBox Grill is graciously providing delicious and hearty Mediterranean-Turkish hors d’oeuvres in your ticket price. A cash bar is available.
