Earth Day event in collaboration between UNA-MN and Monarch Joint Venture

April 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Monarchs and other pollinators are part of a natural food web and ecosystem. Providing enough habitat, like milkweed, is essential in conserving monarch populations but much of their natural habitat is currently under threat. Join members and friends of UNA-MN on Friday, April 22nd to celebrate Earth Day with a virtual presentation from Wendy Caldwell, Executive Director of the Monarch Joint Venture. This webinar will include information about the Monarch Joint Venture and their work to protect the monarch butterfly and its migration, as well as tips and ideas to bring to your own yard, including planting milkweed, to support monarch populations.

To register, click here

Signing up also includes a $5 contribution towards the cost of the milkweed and further voluntary donations to Monarch Joint Venture can be made on the registration link.

We look forward to a great event to learn more about how we can each support these vital pollinators right here in Minnesota!
