Schools Participating: Blake, Cambridge-Isanti, Chanhassen, Cretin-Derham Hall, Edina,  Highland Park, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, School of Environmental Studies, Southwest, Wayzata.

Context: The Model UN program teaches life skills including writing, public speaking, conflict resolution, negotiation and research. Students think critically about global issues and explore these issues from perspectives of the countries of world. Students develop leadership skills and a first person understanding of the importance and challenge of solving problems collectively; and the interconnection of all countries and peoples. Since 2004 over 25,000 students (junior and senior high) have been served by the United Nations Association of MN Model UN program.
